Make a tax deductible contribution to the Carroll County Land Trust Inc., a local private non-profits 501(c)(3) organization. Your annual contribution of $35 or more will make you a member of the Carroll County Land Trust. Membership includes a subscription to the Trust’s newsletter and an invitation to our annual dinner meeting. At the annual meeting, updates on land preservation progress are given and property owners who have preserved land are recognized and given a chance to tell what the program has meant to them. Corporate sponsorships which include recognition in our newsletter, on our website and during our annual dinner meeting are available starting at $500.

What Else Can You Do?

Publicly credit and encourage your County Commissioners who recognize the County’s Agricultural Land Preservation Program as a long term financial commitment and high funding priority of paramount importance. Since 1980, all Boards of County Commissioners have been true to this monumental endeavor which is a tribute to them and the more than 350 farmland owners to date, who have voluntarily elected to permanently preserve their land. Continued support and encouragement from the people of Carroll County will be very important and enable our future Boards to continue to persevere and do their part to realize the goal before it is too late .
